The Ford Racing Mustang 2.3L Replacement/Maverick 2.0L Turbo Upgrade Kit gives you a complete production 2.3L MPC turbocharger with everything needed to install it. It works as a direct replacement turbo for 2024-2026 Mustang EcoBoost engines, and as a larger turbo upgrade for the 2.0L Maverick, with bigger compressor and turbine wheels than the factory 2.0L unit.
Larger compressor and turbine wheels. Compared to the factory 2.0L MPC turbo, this turbocharger steps the compressor wheel up from 53mm to 59mm and the turbine wheel up from 48mm to 51mm. A larger compressor wheel moves more air, and a larger turbine wheel helps the turbo handle the extra exhaust flow that comes with making more power. It is a meaningful hardware upgrade over stock for builds that are ready to move beyond factory airflow limits.
Higher A/R for improved breathing. The turbine housing A/R increases from .64 on the factory 2.0L turbo to .82 on this kit. A higher A/R lets the turbine flow more exhaust at higher engine speeds, which supports stronger top-end performance and helps manage backpressure when you are asking the engine for more.
Complete kit for easy installation. Everything you need to install the turbo comes in one box. The kit includes the production 2024+ 2.3L MPC Mustang EcoBoost turbocharger, a heat shield, and the gaskets and hardware required for a complete installation. This is also the replacement kit for the M-9438-MAVU turbo upgrade kit, making it simple to source the turbocharger itself.
Calibration required. This kit does not include a calibration. A larger turbo changes how your engine makes boost and airflow, so a proper custom tune is needed to take full advantage of the hardware and keep the engine operating safely. Be sure to plan for a calibration when you order.
