Ford Racing Parts hood lift struts make lifting your hood much easier and enhance the underhood appearance of your Stang.
Ease of use. When you begin to lift your hood these 90LB rated gas struts raise it the rest of the way up. Once fully raised, there is no need for your factory prop rod and it can be completely eliminated if desired.
OE quality components. These assemblies are built from lightweight steel black powder coated brackets and gas struts sporting white laser engraved "Ford Racing" logos on each strut.
No drill install. This simple bolt-on mounts to existing holes already located in the factory hood. Basic hand tools are required for this simple driveway or parking lot install.
Note: If your aftermarket hood is lighter than the factory hood, use caution when opening the hood due to the power of the struts.
