The front strut bump stop serves as the last line of defense between your suspension travel and a harsh metal-to-metal impact. On 2020-2025 Ford Explorers, the factory bump stop absorbs the energy at full compression, protecting the strut and surrounding components from damage during hard landings, deep potholes, or aggressive cornering. This is a genuine Ford replacement unit, manufactured to the same specification as the part that left the assembly line.
Factory-fit precision. As a Ford Genuine part, this bump stop matches the original geometry, durometer, and mounting interface exactly. There is no trimming, adapting, or fitment guesswork involved; it installs the same way the OEM piece does.
Protects the entire front suspension assembly. A worn or collapsed bump stop allows the strut to bottom out under compression, which transfers excessive shock loads into the strut body, mount, and chassis. Replacing a degraded bump stop early prevents more expensive damage downstream.
