This short ball stud is required to properly install the 1.5L EcoBoost engine cover on either the Bronco Sport or the Escape. This stud attaches to the factory intake manifold in three different locations, and three are required for proper installation of the engine cover. The stud supports and secures the engine cover, keeping it at the proper height.
