Exedy reviewed the composition of the organic clutch compound and made adjustments, resulting in a high-heat resistant organic friction material. This material provides great pedal feel and grabs smooth, making it a perfect choice for a street clutch. The high-heat resistance provides the necessary qualities that you need from a clutch at the track.
Better engagement and higher torque capacity. The clutch features a 40% increase in the clamping load than the stock clutch. This will make for a slightly stiffer clutch pedal but allows the clutch to hold more torque. This clutch has a torque capacity of 498 ft./lbs. to make sure that your Mustang gets all its power to the ground.
