So, we showed you many of the chassis and suspension upgrades available from us here at Steeda in the
previous article, so now we’ll show you the components that are sure to be the cherry on top and help

alloy steel, making them more than twice as strong as other bars on the market without adding any
additional weight. If you're looking for increased performance and the best strength-to-weight ratio of
any brace in the industry, this is the one you need. Tests show that without a strut tower brace, shock
towers flex up to a ¼-inch during hard cornering, but Steeda's strut tower brace strengthens the front
of your car, eliminating suspension flex and cowl shake, while improving steering response and handling.
Our strut tower brace, when teamed with our subframe connectors and G-Trac brace, will make huge
difference in the feel of hatchback and convertible models. Moving inside the cabin of a Fox Body Mustang project, our billet aluminum pedals covers look great, and
give you a better foot hold for improved heel-toe downshifting and better driving confidence. The new
pedals are engraved with the Steeda logo for a distinctive look and are available in three and four
pedal sets (includes the dead pedal cover). They attach easily over the factory pedals and come with
mounting hardware and instructions. These pedal covers are made from high-quality billet aluminum and

will know you have performance on your mind. The Tri-Ax shifter re-invented the short throw shifter for
the Fox Body Mustang. This shifter is CNC-machined from billet 6061 T-6 aluminum and has a heavy duty
construction and design. It has a nickel plated pivot shaft so it will not rust or stain. Also, the Tri
Ax shifter uses durable Grade 8 and stainless steel hardware for long lasting performance. This shifter
comes with our Exclusive BootGuard, which prevents damage and degradation to the factory inner boot.
This shifter is the smoothest, most comfortable, quickest shifting, shortest throw shifter on the
market. The short throw shifter incorporates adjustable positive stops which prevent overextending the
shift lever, preventing costly transmission damage. The T-5 does not have internal stops, so if shifting
too hard, the shift forks can bend, causing internal damage to the transmission. These adjustable
positive stops keep that from happening to keep you on the road. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention adding a cowl hood to the exterior of your Fox Body Mustang
project. A cowl hood might as well have been a factory option back in the day. If you saw a Fox Mustang,
it had a cowl hood on it. We have them in all variety of heights, from 2-, 3-, and 4-inch versions.
Adding a fiberglass cowl hood can take 24 pounds off your car where it matters most. The 'Standard' open
rear cowl lets out hot air to keep the engine compartment cool. The "Louvered" hood lets high pressure
air escape from under the hood, reducing lift and increasing high speed stability. Made from sturdy
fiberglass, our cowl hoods won't flex or wrinkle like others on the market. Our hoods are available with
a smooth gelcoat, which requires minimal work before color-matching it to your existing paint. Just
scuff it, paint it, and bolt it on. Last, but not least, and back by popular demand, Steeda's trademark rear spoiler is the best blend of
functional aerodynamics and distinctive styling. With so many Fox Body Mustang projects going in the
direction of retro builds, our rear spoiler harkens back to the days when 5.0L pushrod Fox Mustangs
dominated the streets. This unique spoiler extends the rear airfoil by several inches to trap high
pressure air over the rear decklid, increasing stability and control, but unlike most aftermarket
spoilers or wings, our competition-tested design increases downforce without increasing drag. The clean,
crisp styling is different enough to stand out in a crowd, yet subtle enough to never go out of style.
Our Steeda rear spoiler is an easy 20-minute, direct bolt-on for all 1987-1993 LX hatchbacks. It also
fits all 1979-1993 hatchbacks including GTs with minor modifications. Our Steeda rear spoiler comes with
