G3000 cast iron construction. EBC machines these rotors to OE-grade specifications using G3000 spec iron, the same alloy class used by original equipment suppliers. The material density and damping characteristics resist the disc thickness variation that causes brake pedal pulsation after extended mileage.
Gen 3 silver grey Geomet-style coating. EBC's current production uses a highly corrosion-resistant silver grey surface coating applied immediately after machining and washing in the casting plant itself. Coating the rotor before surface oxidation can set in produces far better long-term corrosion resistance than the former black etch paint finish. The silver hub appearance also closely matches factory rotor colors, keeping the front and rear of the vehicle visually consistent if only one axle is replaced.
Every rotor runout-inspected, no exceptions. Before shipping, each rotor passes through EBC's dedicated runout inspection process. Even rotors machined on precision equipment get checked individually, so fitment is confirmed accurate and vibration-free right out of the box.
European-sourced castings, UK and USA machining. More than 80 percent of EBC's rotor castings originate in Europe, and all sport rotor machining takes place in either the United Kingdom or the United States. The result is a level of dimensional accuracy and material consistency that separates these from low-cost import discs.
