Gen 3 silver grey Geomet-style coating. EBC transitioned to this high-corrosion-resistance surface finish in early 2023. The coating is applied at the casting facility immediately after machining and washing, leaving no window for bare iron to begin surface oxidation. Silver grey also matches most factory rotor colors more closely than black-painted alternatives, so the front and rear of the vehicle look consistent if only one axle is being replaced.
European castings, UK and USA machining. More than 80 percent of EBC's rotor castings originate in Europe, and all sport rotor machining is performed in either the United Kingdom or the United States.
