EBC Bronco 2.3L BSD Rear Rotors (2021+)

Stock rotors on the 2021+ Bronco 2.3L handle everyday driving, but push into towing, trail use, or upgrade with larger tires and performance parts, and thermal buildup starts compromising brake feel and pad life. EBC's BSD7849 BSD Disc Rotors replace the rear rotors with a purpose-built performance unit that runs cooler and wears more evenly under sustained use.

G3000 grey iron construction. Each rotor starts as a precision GS3000 grey iron casting blank, then goes through heat treatment, precision machining, flat grinding, metallurgy inspection, dynamic balancing, and a corrosion-resistant finish, all completed at EBC's Northampton, UK manufacturing facility.

Bi-directional blade slot geometry. The defining feature of the BSD rotor is its uniquely engineered blade slot pattern. Unlike a conventional uni-directional slot, the overlapping bi-directional blades evacuate hot gases from the braking zone faster and more efficiently, which keeps pad faces flatter, reduces uneven wear, and helps maintain consistent brake torque across repeated stops.

Quieter than conventional slotted rotors. The overlapping slot geometry dampens brake wind noise, a common complaint with traditional slotted designs. The result is a rotor that performs like a sport disc without the drone that often comes with it.

Compatible with the full EBC brake pad lineup. The BSD7849 pairs with EBC Greenstuff, Redstuff, Yellowstuff, or Bluestuff NDX brake pads depending on the intended duty cycle, from street and light trail work through more demanding performance applications.
