G3000 grey iron construction with full quality control. Each BSD rotor starts as a GS3000 grey iron casting blank, then goes through precision machining, flat grinding, metallurgy verification, dynamic balancing, and a corrosion-resistant finish before leaving the EBC plant. The result is a rotor that seats evenly and runs true from the first installation.

Bi-directional blade slots, not a simple uni-directional cut. The overlapping blade slot geometry evacuates hot gases from the braking zone more efficiently than conventional straight slots, keeping pad temperatures lower and contact surfaces flatter. Lower operating temperatures translate directly to more consistent pedal feel and reduced thermal distortion over repeated hard stops.

Quieter than competing slotted designs. The multiple overlapping slot pattern breaks up the resonance frequencies that cause brake wind noise.
