DBA's 5000 Series rotors provide all the benefits of their 4000 Series but feature a 2-piece design for improved weight savings, serviceability, and heat management. They accomplish this by using T6061-T6 black anodized aluminum hats for the hub mounting surface that reduces unsprung weight while providing a heat barrier between your outer rotor ring and wheel hub. The outer ring is constructed from high-carbon cast iron, and attaches to the hat using premium National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts for a secure connection. DBA also offers the outer ring separately for hassle-free future servicing, and backs this kit with a 1-year/12,000 mile warranty.
XD Drilled Design: The cross-drilled design enhances cooling and degassing, reducing brake fade and prolonging the life and performance of your braking system. Unlike most drilled brake rotors on the market, DBA opted to use a mix of dimples and drilled holes to give you the benefits of a drilled rotor without sacrificing structural integrity.
