The Circle D Pro Series 6R80 Torque Converter is a fully custom billet converter available in four diameters, giving 2011-2017 Mustang GT and F-150 owners the ability to match the converter to their exact power level, vehicle weight, and driving style.
245mm: built for lighter cars and big naturally aspirated power. The 245mm is Circle D's smallest diameter in this lineup, making it a strong fit for lighter cars and big naturally aspirated combinations that want a quicker, more responsive launch. It uses the same Pro Series construction as the larger diameters, giving you improved launch characteristics without sacrificing the durability needed for a serious naturally aspirated build.
252mm: the most durable and adjustable option for big power. Designed for 800+ horsepower applications, the 252mm is built for big turbo, blower, or nitrous combinations that need serious holding capacity. A CNC machined steel stator gives Circle D the ability to fine tune this converter's behavior to your specific setup, and a mechanical diode one way clutch improves efficiency compared to the factory roller clutch design. Anti-balloon plates on the pump and turbine keep internal components from flexing under extreme cylinder pressure.
258mm: built for heavier cars and bigger power setups. The 258mm is a great fit for heavier cars, smaller trucks, and bigger power combinations, or simply a stronger performance street build. It's the preferred converter for 6R80 equipped positive displacement blower and turbo Mustangs, as well as modified F-150s that need more holding capacity than the factory converter can provide.
265mm: built for extreme power and heavy trucks. The 265mm is designed for really big power combinations or large, heavy trucks that need maximum holding capacity. It uses a multi disc clutch pack, making it Circle D's most durable diameter for 6R80 equipped vehicles pushing serious horsepower.
Shared construction across every diameter. Every diameter in the Pro Series 6R80 lineup features 100 square inches of clutch lining for wide open throttle lock-up, giving it far more holding capacity than the factory single disc setup. All four are furnace brazed and hand TIG welded rather than stamped and glued like the factory unit, use Torrington style bearings to reduce friction and extend service life, and feature a billet front cover, billet lockup apply piston, and flanged impeller hub for anti-flex durability. Every converter is hand assembled to exacting tolerances, which is what separates a true Pro Series build from a standard rebuilt or off the shelf converter.
