Billetworkz Mustang 6-Speed Apex Weighted Shift Knob - Retro Engraved (2015-2026)

The factory shift knob on your 6-speed manual S550 or S650 Mustang is a plastic afterthought. Billetworkz replaces it with the Apex: a tall, contoured, CNC-machined 304 stainless steel knob that adds real weight, real grip, and a noticeably smoother feel to every gear change. Available for 2015-2026 Mustangs equipped with the MT82 6-speed manual, the Apex is powder-coated in a wide range of finishes and laser-engraved with a Retro-style shift pattern for a clean, purposeful look inside the cabin.

Height and leverage without bulk. At 3.25 inches tall, the Apex is Billetworkz's tallest knob design. The extra height gives your hand more leverage on each shift, reducing effort without making the knob feel oversized or awkward in your grip. Smooth, flowing contours keep it comfortable during long drives and aggressive back-road runs alike.

Weight that works for you. Clocking in at 530 grams, the Apex adds meaningful mass over the stock plastic knob. That weight smooths out notchiness in the MT82 gearbox, lets you glide through the gate with less force, and gives each shift a more deliberate, satisfying feel. The difference is noticeable from the first gear change.

Precision machined and powder-coated to last. Solid 304 stainless steel construction means the Apex will not scratch, crack, or fade like plastic. Each knob is CNC-machined for consistent geometry and tolerance, then powder-coated in your choice of finish: Matte Black, Gloss White, Gloss Red, Neon Yellow, Hyper Blue, Candy Red, Candy Pink, Candy Blue, or Gloss Orange. The Retro-style 6-speed shift pattern is laser-engraved directly into the surface for a sharp, permanent finish.

Note: Fits 2015-2026 Mustang S550/S650 with the MT82 6-speed manual transmission. Does not fit GT350 or GT500 models. The Apex shape features an internal counterbore designed to fit with most reverse lockouts; however, Billetworkz recommends their Reverse Lockout Adapter to eliminate any gap caused by the factory reverse lockout collar. If upgrading the factory reverse lockout entirely, purchase the Billetworkz Reverse Lockout (adapter not required in that case).
