BC Racing's DS Series coilovers fitting your 2012-2018 Focus FWD are a capable, track-oriented adjustable coilover option allowing you to give your vehicle that lowered stance without sacrificing performance, comfort, build quality, vehicle height, or handling. The DS Series (formerly DR Series) offers the same great benefits of their ever popular BR and RM offerings such as 30 clicks of simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment, adjustable ride height independent of spring preload, and front camber plates for easy alignment. Where the DS Series stands out is its active adjustment capability thanks to a Digressive Piston that changes based on road conditions and speed. What this means is that these coilovers are great for drivers who want the features and capability of a track designed coilover, but expect to encounter rougher than normal terrain on the track or street. Taking a corner at high speed? The damper will stiffen to reduce body roll. Driving on the street and encounter a pothole/bumpy surface? They'll soften up for comfort and protection against suspension damage. Just like BC Racing's other coilovers, these are fully rebuildable, ensuring lifelong use.
