This kit features a dry filter. A dry filter is better for dry, dusty climates as the filter will not become restricted by dust as easily. An oil filter provides better airflow and utilizes oil for removing contaminants from the air. In dusty climates the oil may cause the dust to cake on to the filter and restrict your intake.
Make up to +7% HP and +2 Lbs. x Ft. of Torque! The improve airflow and reduced restriction allows you to gain power and see improved performance.
Washable and Reusable Filter. Do not worry about needing to purchase more filters, the aFe kit features a washable and reusable filter that will last a lifetime. The filter features a layered design that provides a finer gauze with each layer. This maximizes airflow and ensures superior filtration.
Bolt In Design. The aFe kit makes use of the factory mounting points to make installation easy and simple. The top of the factory air box is replaced with a snap-on heat shield for a no hassle installation.
