Hi everybody Brian from Steeda.com here today to talk to you about S550 Ultra Low-profile Jacking Rails. These are full-length jacking rails to install underneath your car which will make it raising it to do project service anything that you're starting to do to your car a breeze. Now the whole idea of the low profile is that these sit right along the pinch bolts just inside, underneath your car. They're designed to be easily accessible and provide a little bit of protection for those of you that have your cars very low. More importantly for those of you taking your car to the track or doing service after the track you can use the full length of the jacking rail to use your jack to raise the car and/or your jack stands to safely work under your car. Now like all Steeda products we really think through everything about this sleek design ultra low profile. These are 25% lighter than any other jack and rails on the market. That's really important for those of you again adding components to your car for performance. Another great aspect to our jacking rails is they work in conjunction with our subframe braces, so there's no interference they will work with one another. Since we know these are going to get a lot of views we've powder-coated them and a durable black finish so you know they're gonna last you a very long time. We still recommend using pads on your jack stands to keep these nice-looking jacking rails in good shape and keep the underneath of your car looking clean. Not that you see it that often, but let's be honest every one of us takes a look when we're under the car. The jacking rails come with all the necessary hardware for mounting including the mounting bolts and the finishing caps, again a nice touch that we put on this kit. Thank you for watching. Awesome
Installed these to make jacking the car easier! They do that. Fit and finish, perfect! Ease of installation, easy! They also protect the bottom from getting scraped up. Researched others before purchasing these! Look no further! Get these!

Perfect for tight garages
This was exactly what I needed to lift my car in my garage. Before these I had to move the Jack 7-10 times to fully lift the car, since you had to do one corner at a time and not lift too far since I couldn't get the Jack perpendicular to the car due to space restrictions. Now I only need to move the Jack twice and it's all the way up! Install was easy, scraping off the factory seam sealer was the hardest part. This is made much easier with a heat gun. Also, mine required removing one of the rear bolts on each side to get the rails on, the instructions neglected to say that was a possibility.

Very Practical Mod
These jacking rails are great and a must have if you like to wrench and don't have a lift at home. Very easy to install (about 10 minutes each side) on the ground and everything lined up perfectly. You can reuse the 6 chassis bolts that are already there (they are a bit longer than the bolts Steeda provides). You only need to use 2 of the Steeda bolts for the 2nd hole from the rear on each side (on the 2018 anyways) that does not currently have a chassis bolt in it. The rails themselves are pretty light and very high quality. The provided plastic caps are nice, too, and wedged in perfectly, giving the rails a nice, finished look. I have always stressed when having to jack up the Mustang in the past - with these you don't have to stress and it literally takes about 10 seconds to jack up the side of your car.

Easy install
The rails went on with little effort. I did heat up the factory seam sealer with a heat gun instead of scraping it off to achieve a flush fit. The sealer got soft and squishy for me. I also used the factory bolts where possible due to their longer length. My car feels slightly stiffer which makes sense given the added bracing. Love the high quality powder coat finish and plastic caps...great design! Amazing to see t1/2 of entire car get lifted in just one jack point which will really help with maintenance.

Worth it
The first time I had to jack up my 2016 Roush RS3 I found suitable jacking points It was all I could do but not cringe as I jacked up the car as it creaked and groaned with every pump of the jack. I felt there just had to be a better way... The installation of these was a snap, if I did not have a lowered RS3 I imagine I could have done this without jacking it up again. But for the second time since under my ownership I jacked the car up, and then lowered it on some 6"x6" wooden blocks under the tires to remove any unintentional twisting I created from jacking up the car. Once up in the air I removed the bolts from the car (15mm btw) and then I cleaned whatever seam sealer that was in my way and I proceeded to use the OE bolts, As mentioned in the Steeda instructions, Ford apparently does not always use all the bolt holes, so I used 1 bolt on each side. On the way down, I used the new jacking rail, and I do not remember any creaking and groaning like I normally got from jacking up the car... For $100, you cannot go wrong, it is an hour job if you really take your time...
