All-American Muscle: Steeda's Pony Wars

Smokin' tires, burnin' rubber, and all-American muscle! A quick summary of what you're bound to encounter at the Steeda Autosports Pony Wars event at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

In an effort to mitigate Mustang-on-Mustang crime, Steeda created the Pony Wars in 2010. The idea was to form an event catered to streetcars. Every event has race cars (which is awesome!), but most people don't own a race car. With Pony Wars, anyone with an American Muscle car can go out, show off their car, compete for cash, and have a great time.

The inaugural event saw around 70 participants join in on the fun, but it has continued to grow in popularity, with over 500 contestants visiting SGMP for the 2016 Pony Wars! With numbers like that, this year's event promises to be bigger and better, luring Pony lovers from all around the Southeastern United States.

A weekend event just north of the company's manufacturing plant in Valdosta, Georgia, Pony Wars is one of the only events in the country that pits Ford vs. Chevy vs. Mopar street cars against each other. Over the past several years the event has seen a variety of classes for competitors to enter, but one thing has remained consistent... The event has remained street-car-only, so those race cars will need to sit pretty in the garage for this one.

The 2017 Pony Wars will feature five different classes, along with the car show, test and tune passes, and dyno-runs for those who want to know their stats! The event kicks off on Friday, October 20th with a welcome party at Hooters in Valdosta, Georgia, so come join us! For the rest of the weekend's schedule, please see below:
