The NMRA blasts into the 2013 season with guns blazing, starting the year off right at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida, over the weekend of March 7-10, 2013. As the traditional jumping-off point for the NMRA season, Bradenton always brings record-setting weather and a great racing surface to the NMRA competitors and Steeda Autosports and Nitto tire will be right there with our corporate displays!
The NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals Series has a little bit of everything for the racing fan - from the hardcore Street Outlaw class that features turbo- and supercharged door-slammers that are capable of burning up the quarter-mile, to the heavy hitters of the Renegade class shooting for glory with their state-of-the-art small-block Ford engines. Fans and racers alike wait all winter for this event to take place, so make sure you've got your seat in the stands to be a witness to it all.
At this race, Steeda and Nitto Tire sponsored John Urist will be proudly defending his championship and will be running his Fox bodied 1993 Mustang LX Coupe. Powered with a 420 CID Windsor engine with over 35 PSI of hard charging forced induction, John's Mustang puts out an estimated 2000 horsepower... enough gallop power to propel his pony down the quarter mile into the mid seven second range with speeds approaching 200 miles per hour.

The NMRA Bradenton event will also feature a 2013 Ford Racing Cobra Jet Showdown presented by Steeda Dealer Jacky Jones Ford. Spring Break Shootout fans are in for an extra special treat at this year's event as the Ford factory racecars will compete for top honors. Attendees will be able witness one of the largest gatherings of Cobra Jets parked together in what NMRA calls the "snake pit." Several times each day the snakes will hit the track for the ultimate Blue Oval slugfest of power and performance. These Ford-built racecars will put on a high speed show all weekend long in search of glory and bragging rights for winning the Cobra Jet Showdown!
