Camp Steeda Scheduled for April 20-22

Steeda Autosports is proud to announce the return of Camp Steeda SVTOA On-Track at Sebring International Raceway, this coming April 20-22. Steeda and the SVTOA Tampa Chapter are teaming up to once again host an exciting weekend. The SVTOA-On Track Event Camp Steeda is designed to be educational, as well as exhilarating. There will be classroom and trackside instruction as well as lots of track time on the fabled full 3.7 mile Sebring race track. This is the same circuit on which the 12 Hours of Sebring Endurance is run every March.

The event will feature the latest Steeda Q Mustangs and performance parts. The all conquering 1995 Steeda Cobra R, the famed number 20 car, returns as enthusiasts will be able to ride in the winningest Cobra R from 1995-97. Steeda's 1993 Cobra R, one of 107 produced and the first R Model to win a race, will also be on hand providing rides at speed around the race course The Cobra R Models are not static, museum pieces, these cars are extremely fast and exciting to watch and better yet, get to ride in.

In addition there will be Cobras, Bullitt Mustangs, Mach 1s and Mustang GTs from all over the country participating in two days of open track action. The action however, is not restricted to just Mustangs as many F-150 Lightnings will be on hand, their owners putting them to the test on the famed Sebring 12 Hours of Endurance circuit.

Industry leading companies, Nitto Tire, SCT and Tokico are event sponsors and will be on hand to showcasing their latest products, as well as providing technical assistance and advice. Nitto engineers and product development personnel will test the latest Nitto performance tires. Participants will have the opportunity to have Nitto tires mounted on their vehicles to test and enjoy on the Sebring circuit.

As they have since its inception, Ford SVT will have engineers attending the event. lending a special insight . Editors from all the major Mustang publications market will be participating at Camp Steeda, always on the lookout for well turned out vehicles for their magazines. They will find a target rich environment at Camp Steeda. When asked about the return of Camp Steeda to Sebring, Steeda Autosports President Dario Orlando stated, "Over the years we have enjoyed supporting the SVTOA and their members.
