Scott Boda with Steeda Autosports. Today we'll be installing our industry first patent pending S550 rear camber adjustment kit. These brackets allow for quicker camber adjustment and the ability to lock the camber in position on the rear of the S550. We will be performing this installation on an IRS that has been removed from an S550 to better demonstrate how these brackets are installed. With the vehicle safely supported and the rear wheel removed. Remove the bolt that holds the rear camber arm to the IRS subframe. Next, place the Steeda bracket over the factory bracket. Raise the rear camber arm in position and feed the provided cam bolt through it. Slide the cam washer into position on the opposite side, ensuring the orientation of both washers is in the same direction. Loosely secure the assembly with the provided 12mm nylon lock nut. Insert the bolt from the top and install the nut on the bottom. Blue loctite is recommended. Tighten the short 12mm bolt and serrated nut completely that you installed earlier. Repeat these steps on the other side to complete the installation. Keep in mind you'll need an alignment after installing these brackets. Remember, when taking your Mustang or Ford vehicle to the next level choose none other than Steeda Autosports, where speed matters!

Save up for the camber arms instead.
You'll notice that in their install video they're using a subframe that is removed from the car. CJPP has a video also but passenger side only on a car with true rear coilovers. Having a spring in the perch makes getting to one side difficult and the fuel tube makes the other side difficult. The subframe has to be dropped just to fit these brackets between the SF and body rails. You might as well leave it down until you're finished because torquing the adjustment bolt to 86ftlb is very difficult and I highly doubt that an alignment shop would do it properly. I had to move the fuel-fill line and have the SF down an inch to do it on the driver's side and I had to bend a tab on the factory bracket so I could clock the bolt. Adjustment is now repeatable but no extra adjustment beyond factory range and it is, by no means, easy. If I had it to do over, I'd save up for the adjustable arms. They probably offer more adjustment and better access once installed.

you can relatively easily and accurately adjust camber
I'm going to tell you right now, you're not going to like the process of installing this on the driver's side because the fuel fill tube is right in the way. On the passenger side, it's much easier. But, once you get through it (and you will), you will find that your alignment shop will love these. If you get the right tools (which you probably don't have unless you're an alignment tech or mechanic) you can relatively easily and accurately adjust camber for a drag strip and then for the drive home, or for a road course and then for the drag strip later in the weekend... whatever. Just work with your alignment shop to mark your two ideal camber settings and have toe set in relation to the camber setting you will put the most mileage on. Yes, you will find these are not super-duper easy to adjust given their location in the vehicle, but if you've ever tried to adjust your camber in the rear at the track... well... you'll realize how much better these things are to have! I experience no noise, slippage, or issues with these.
