Bearing the Mustang name, you expect your SUV to feel sporty and respond well to steering inputs. If you are looking to get flatter cornering and adjustability over how your Mach-E handles, the Steeda Adjustable Rear Sway Bar is the upgrade that you need.

Better Performance. The electric SUV has a lower center of gravity due to the battery pack, but there is still noticeable body roll when cornering. Reign in the body roll and keep your SUV flatter through corners by upgrading the sway bar. Increasing the stiffness also helps reduce understeer in corners, improving how the Mach-E performs.

Adjustable. With three different adjustments, you are able to stiffen the handling of your Mach-E to your liking. The stock swaybar has a rate of 200lbs, while the Steeda Rear Sway Bar has rates of 250lbs, 300lbs, and 350lbs. This means that you have control over how your SUV handles, and you can maximize its performance. Adjustability is simple, the hole furthest from the bar is 250lbs, while the hole closest to the bar is 350lbs.

Greater stability. A swaybar distributes the weight of your Mach-E to the wheels when making turns, helping to keep the SUV planted. By increasing the rate of the sway bar, trailer sway is reduced when towing, and control is improved with heavy payloads, so you can drive with confidence.

CA Residents: Cancer and Reproductive Harm WARNING

Hey everybody it's Chris from Steeda and today we'll be talking about the Steeda adjustable rear sway bar kit fitting your 2021 plus Mustang Mach-E we're going to show you a quick product review and a step-by-step installation of how to install this on your Mach-E stay tuned this is the Steeda adjustable rear sway bar fitting the 2021 plus Mustang Mach-E very excited for this part because it really does change the overall driving Dynamic of your Mach-E let's face it cars from the factory inherently have understeer tuned into the chassis swapping out your rear sway bar is going to completely change the way your car responds in a corner makes the car feel more neutral and on top of that you have the additional adjustability to adjust to your taste the factory bar right on the Mach-E is 200 pounds you have three adjustment holes on our bar starting at 250 pounds all the way to the softest which is the farthest out and then 300 second hole in and the closest hole third hole in would be 350 pounds so you can adjust completely to your taste and if you were to add a set of lowering springs or anything like that you can adjust the bar to compensate for the additional rate you may have in those lowering springs this adjustable rear sway bar has been tested thoroughly on both the GT performance Edition and a first edition Mach-E one aspect that our bars stand apart from the rest on are the CNC machined Billet steel ends as you pull the factory sway bar off you'll see that each end is pressed what that means is that there's actually a weak point in the sway bar that could potentially break over time especially if you push the car regularly Additionally you get a lifetime warranty It's Made in the USA you get all necessary hardware needed for installation you're going to drastically reduce body roll if you intend to toe on your Mach-E this is going to help keep your car tracking straight when towing it really is an awesome solution to completely change the Dynamics of your Mustang Mach-E I'm going to toss this over to Jamie so you can see how the Steeda adjustable rear sway bar is installed on your Mustang Mach-E.

The installation was smoke and straight forward for me but an ASE certified local gggrage pulled the belly covers off my car and with one look said that they were not able to do the job because it required the subframe to be dropped/lowered to access the removal and installation of the sway bars without taking one look at the instructions that I printed up from this site for them. Come on NTB of Columbia SC, at least a 3 hour job you are saying? After I brought the car back to my gggrage it took me 45 minutes to remove and install the Steeda rear sway bar, without dropping/lowering the subframe. The first thing that I did notice though was the torx 40 end link bolt head on the passenger side had been stripped. This is a brand new 2022 Mustang Mach E GTPE that has never had any suspension work outside of the factory build. Could that have been the reason that the shop made that statement thinking that I did not know what I was talking about?

Excellent Improvement
I installed the front bar at the same time I installed the rear, so it is hard to assess just the rear. But I love how flat the car corners now, and the improved stability over rough surfaces is amazing. The car is transformed IMO. I used the stiffest setting. Installation took me 3 hours but I have never done a suspension mod before, so I went very slowly. One hour is reasonable if you know the car and have done suspension work before. (FYI - the lube in the picture is not the lube provided by Steeda.)

Quick Upgrade
The. Mustang Mach-E adjustable rear sway bar noticeably flattens sway. I adjusted to the middle setting; dealer installed quick & easy. More fun.
