This premium high performance synthetic 5W30 motor oil from Royal Purple is specifically designed to prevent wear and LSPI in modern smaller displacement turbocharged GDI engines with start/stop systems. Formulated using premium synthetic base oils with Royal Purple's proprietary additive packages, this oil exceeds the protection and performance requirements of OEM oils. Compared with Dexos®1 Gen3, API SP & SN+, and/or ILSAC GF-6A oils, this oil boasts 300% better oxidation resistance, 100% better LSPI protection, 50% improvement in deposit control, and 14% enhanced sludge protection along with better wear protection. Royal Purple also states that this oil, having a low coefficient of friction, results in optimized fuel efficiency equal to a 0W-20 oil. Also compatible with ethanol mixed fuels (E85).
