Apply it anywhere radiant heat is a problem. The tape wraps wire loom, fuel and brake lines, coolant hoses, and air intake tubing. Note that Thermaflect Tape functions as a radiant barrier, so it requires an air gap between the tape and the heat source. Direct contact with an exhaust pipe or other direct heat source will compromise the adhesive and is not a recommended application.
