Edelbrock's Performer cylinder head will let your 5.0L breathe and make more power. This cylinder head is a 50-state legal upgrade that will improve the performance of your Mustang.
Greater power. The cylinder head is designed to provide great performance across the entire RPM range. Despite the performance-oriented design, the cylinder head still retains good street driveability and idle, unlike other heads. The cylinder head maximizes performance for 300-400hp applications.
CNC machined. Machined from T356 aluminum for greater volume, improved airflow, better cooling, and reduced weight. A three-angle valve job and gasket matching is standard on the head.
High-quality. Stainless steel intake and exhaust valves are used for great performance. Heavy-duty valve-springs, retainers, and keepers ensure that the head is ready for anything. The valve bowls are hand smoothed in order to ensure maximum performance.
Easy upgrade. This cylinder head is direct bolt-on upgrade and accepts stock rocker arms and exhaust manifolds. Most aftermarket exhaust systems are compatible as well.
Power adders. The larger exhaust ports on the Edelbrock Performer head and the .625" deck thickness makes this cylinder head a great option for builds using power adders like superchargers, turbochargers, and nitrous.
Note: Two-cylinder heads required to service your Mustang. The cylinder head comes equipped with springs for a flat tappet camshaft. The head should be matched with Edelbrock head gaskets, and 14mm x 3/4" flat gasket seat spark plugs should be used.
