Known for consistent performance, impressive lap times, and better wear characteristics, you can be confident that the Proxes RA1 will take your racing to another level. These tires are excellent for road course, autocross, time attack, time trial, and endurance racing.
Unique compound. The RA1 tire is constructed from a special compound developed by Toyo. This rubber compound is soft for good grip but is durable for reduced tire wear and extended tire life.
Tread depth indicators. Toyo includes tread depth indicators in the tread blocks of the tire to allow you to measure wear and the wear pattern more accurately.
Shaveable. Shaving the stepped tread 1/8" reveals a semi-slick tire that will offer impressive dry traction. Without shaving, the tire provides excellent wet traction that will take you to the finish line.
Note: This tire requires special care. Please see attached instructions for more information. General set up for the RA1: 160-220F operating temp., high 30s to low 40s (psi) hot inflation, -2.5 to -5.0 degrees of camber, and as much positive caster as possible.
