Steeda Escape/Bronco Sport/Maverick Strut Tower Brace - Black (2020-2022)

Hi everybody Brian from Steeda, featuring a simple cost-effective component that will improve your driving experience. the Steeda Strut Tower Brace for the 2020 later Ford Escape. A Strut Tower Brace is a great way to stiffen the chassis, whether it be a car, a truck or everything in between and the Escape is no different. There has to be room for the engine to sit in there and so thus you have a strut tower on one side and a strut tower on the other side and a lot of openness right through the middle. The Strut Tower Brace literally spans between the strut towers and connects one to the other. Now the strut towers on the Escape in particular are about 12 inches forward of the firewall. That's the next nearest thing that runs side to side on the chassis. It's important to keep these things stiff because while anytime you can keep the chassis stiffer it makes more effective and efficient use of the factory suspension or in this case the Steeda Springs. It also means that you don't have to run as stiff of a spring to improve handling. In addition to the improved handling you're going to notice right away improved steering feedback and feedback from the vehicle is always a good thing. Ford always gets good kudos for having a visceral feel in their cars. They feel very analog and give you a lot of good feedback and this is positive feedback, not road harshness or anything along that and the Strut Tower Brace is no different you won't get any noise vibration or harshness, simply benefits from stiffening up the chassis. Again better handling and ultimately better feel. So whether it's a nice twisty section of mountain road or the on and off ramps like we like in South Florida or possibly even getting into some Autocross events. You will notice the improved steering feedback as well as the improved handling right away. Installation is really straightforward and definitely something you can do at home. We do recommend putting a couple of fender mats or towels on each fender and cover the headlights as well, just so that there's no incidents or anything that might ultimately scratch the vehicle or damage it.
