Give your 2015+ Mustang the proven performance of Steeda manufactured suspension parts. This Steeda Stage 1 Handling Package - Ultralite Linear for your 2015+ Mustang EcoBoost is designed to improve cornering grip, handling balance, reduce brake dive, and reduce body roll while maintaining exceptional ride quality.

This Steeda Stage 1 Handling Package - Ultralite Linear for your 2015+ Mustang EcoBoost will also lower the vehicle about 1.125" in the front and 1" in the rear, for a great appearance and improved weight distribution.

Our Steeda Stage 1 Handling Package - Ultralite Linear is also going to be a weight saver. These Steeda Mustang Ultralite Springs - Linear are 10% lighter than Ford's 2015+ Mustang Performance Pack springs. The reduction in weight will not hinder ride quality at all, you can still expect exceptional ride quality that a Steeda spring is known for.

Our sway bars have machined steel billet sway bar ends, whereas others on the market have coined ends. What does this mean? Our sway bar ends are machined out of billet steel round stock, in-house, on our multi-axis CNC lathes and go through hundreds of computer simulations to ensure the ultimate in strength and performance - this provides greater resistance to bending stresses, and has three major advantages:
  1. These parts are less prone to cracking/fatigue failure on the ends themselves.
  2. It also reduces unwanted deflection in the sway bar end. Excess deflection creates unwanted geometry changes, which physically changes your sway bar stiffness to a non-ideal rate.
  3. With less unwanted deflection, our bars will 'wear out' slower - any spring will eventually become softer over time as it is cycled through its life, our bars will maintain their designed rate for longer with less unwanted deflection.

Our bar rates are developed and optimized through advanced vehicle dynamic simulation and through extensive real-world testing. We engineered these bars to control the vehicles' roll stiffness properly while still allowing you to run softer springs. This optimizes your overall grip and balance of the vehicle while still allowing you to maintain exceptional ride quality.

Handles like a dream
The Steeda Linears are awesome, my car handles like a dream compared to a stock PP.

The car feels more planted
I have had these on my car for a month now and I am glad I went with the Ultralite Linear springs they are nice and stiff perfect for what I am looking to do with the car. The car feels more planted while in turns, less body roll, and less nose dive when applying the brakes.

It made the car feel that much more a true sports car
First off, thanks to David at Steeda for his advice and help on this purchase! I ordered on a Wednesday night and they arrived on Saturday afternoon with the regular shipping option. (I'm in Texas, for reference.) I decided to wait a little while till I've had time to drive the car and really shake it down a bit before giving honeymoon impressions. First off, I think the drop ends up being perfect with my wheel/tire setup. I went with the 1.25F/1R option, and with 305/35/19R, 275/35/19 PSS...there's not a ton of room left there, but even under hard driving, I've not seen any evidence of rubbing. Install was fairly straight forward. Done in my garage with jacks/jack stands, taking our time, and with a frozen on rotor (weird), it ended up being about a 3 hour job. Dropping the rear subframe helps immensely to free up getting the rear springs in. Steeda doesn't have anything on the instructions regarding cutting the bump stops, so we didn't...but after reading others recommend it, may go back in and do that at some point out of sheer anal retentiveness, as I don't feel any negative driving/handling characteristics with them left stock, as of now. As for the ride quality - they're linear, so there's a certain amount of tight response they induce that's simply not there with stock springs. (I've got the Performance Pack, for reference.). It definitely makes the car more snappy, more planted to the road, and much more composed around turns. Squat/Roll is greatly reduced, up to roughly .9G, which is the highest I've gotten it since install. This is my daily, too, and there's nothing that I would consider uncomfortable or off putting about the feel of the springs, whatsoever. I do think a nice set of upgraded shocks would be a good idea, but haven't seen options I've find of yet to replace with, and might end up skipping entirely straight to Coilovers. But, these springs are a great upgrade and have definitely reduced my want/urgency for COs exponentially. It made the car feel that much more a true sports car, which I suppose I expected off the lot, originally. Steeda came in and offered a fantastic, affordable, quality product to remedy Ford's shortcoming. And they make the car look that much better, too. Win-Win! Thanks again, Steeda!

wheel hop on my car is 100% eliminated
A couple of months ago, I started looking into overhauling the suspension of my 2015 GT PP. Up to that point, I had put about 7000 miles on my Mustang which allowed me to get a good sense of the issues with the IRS and overall suspension in stock form. Specifically, I wanted to stiffen up the entire rear end and eliminate the dreaded wheel hop while keeping NVH as close to the stock levels as possible. I also decided to replace the stock PP springs and sway bars in order to improve the overall handing, reduce body roll/brake dive and get rid of the bouncy ride. After going through a ton of feedback on the various solutions from the aftermarket (a lot of which came from fellow mustang6g members), I decided to go with Steeda. Below are the parts I chose to go with. Differential Bushings (Red/Street) Subframe Alignment Kit Subframe Bushing Support Vertical Links Rear Toe Link Subframe Suport Braces Linear Sport Springs Front and Rear Sway Bars and Billet Sway Bar Mounts Bumpsteer Kit I already had the Extreme G-Trak Brace installed. Now to the most important part...the results. The handling of the car is on a whole different level after the suspension upgrades. Minimal pitch and roll during braking, turns and transitions. Overall, the entire car is very tight with much better turn in. As expected, the biggest improvement is the rear end. The power delivery through the IRS is fantastic. The wheel hop on my car is 100% eliminated. The rear tires feel as if they are glued to the ground. Coming out of corners, I am able to get on the throttle earlier and more aggressively without any drama. In terms of NVH, I hear some gear whine in 6th gear under minimal throttle between 75 and 80mph (windows closed/stereo off) as a result of the differential bushing inserts. Apart from that, I can't tell a difference compared to stock. Even the ride quality feels great. My fiance couldn't tell that anything had been done to the car. Overall, I am very happy with the results. Props to Steeda for the excellent work they have done. In the near future, I am looking forward to adding a quality set of performance shocks/struts and hitting the road course.
