Steeda's 555-8175 front drag racing coilovers are a great way to improve the performance of your 2015-2020 Mustang at the track. These adjustable coilovers allow you to fine-tune the suspension and dial in your set up for faster times and quicker launches.

Improved weight transfer. The coilovers feature adjustable rebound to help you dial in weight transfer when you launch your Mustang so that you maximize traction. The coilover uses Ultra-High Travel (UHT) beehive springs that will not bind when you Mustang's front end comes back to earth.

Flatter launching. Adjustable ride height helps you achieve flatter launching and helps you corner balance your S550. The ability to fine-tune the Steeda coilovers lets you shave down your 60 foot times and maximize performance.

Mean look. Dropping the front 1.5", the Steeda coilovers give your Mustang an aggressive look at the track.

Spring rate to match your build. If your Mustang is naturally aspirated, we recommend running the 125 lb. coilover spring. If your Mustang uses forced induction, select the 150 lb. spring in the dropdown.

Scott Boda here with Steeda Autosports to talk about our S550 Adjustable Front Drag Coilovers. The beauty of this kit is it's a bolt-on kit. It's going to bolt into your S550 Mustang and give you the adjustability to get your mustang hooking at the drag strip. One of the things we did when we designed this kit, is we wanted it to be super quiet. That means no NVH, no rattles, no clangs, none of that coming from the front of your car. Let's face it, you've got yourself an S550 mustang because you like all the creature comforts. These are the latest and greatest Mustangs available, best mustangs ever produced, hands down. The beauty of our Front Coilover setup is, it's going to allow you to adjust the rebound of the dampener. What that is, is compression is already set. That is the amount of force it takes to control the compression of the front spring rebound and the extension. We do have quite a bit of compression built into these. This is a great street-mannered front adjustable strut combination. Great at the track, but to be nice and quiet on the street, you're going to have no complaints. It comes with Steeda's exclusive lifetime warranty, and like I said it, gives you all the nice adjustability, creature comfort. You're not going to have a jarring ride. It's going to be super smooth over the bumps, and it does give you all that adjustability. So when you go to the track, and you want to take your Mustang to the next level, Steeda is on board to help you achieve that goal. Now typically for most drag racing applications, we suggest a spring rate between 125 and 225 pounds. Now this is all going to change, depending on whether you're running naturally aspirated or forced induction setups. Now to adjust the rebound, it's a simple click at the top of the front strut assembly. What that's going to allow, is to change the rate at which this front strut assembly extends. Now when you're at the drag strip, what I always try and tell our customers - Start off with the front completely loose. Let's get that mustang working in that first 60 feet by adjusting the rebound. We're going to allow the front of that car to lift up, get the weight on the back tires as quickly as possible. This is going to provide optimum traction. Now after a pass or two, and you got the rear end squatting and you got the weight transferring, start dialing in a little tighter rebound in the front. What that's going to do, is it's going to slow the rate at the weight transfer to the rear tires. What this is going to do, is it's going to actually make the car go to 60 feet even quicker. This is a great, like I said, street strip combo for all of your S550's. It's super quiet. It is used on our world-record-setting Silver Bullet. The best 60-foot today is 1.38 seconds. That's to 60 foot in an N/A 2018 Mustang with that 10R80 transmission. It is the quickest 60 foot that has been done on-motor for a 2018 or newer Mustang, and that's thanks to our Steeda shocks and struts, our adjustable front coilover setup, our Mickey Thompson tires, and our Circle D converter.
