Functional cooling. The openings in the hood allow high-pressure and hot air under your hood to be extracted by the low-pressure zone above the hood. This airflow improves cooling, reduces engine bay temperatures, and can even improve aerodynamics. The hood includes a pair of vent block off plates to keep rain, snow, and leaves out of your engine and can be removed for additional cooling when needed.
