SCCA Club Racers officially rang in the New Year with checkered flags in January at the SCCA Sebring Super Tour at Sebring International Raceway, Round One of the Eastern Conference Majors Tour, and Steeda Autosports once again was leading the pack when our sponsored driver Tom Ellis took the checkered flag first in the fiercely competitive American Sedan class.
You have heard us before proclaim that the exceptionally challenging Sebring International Raceway is brutal on both cars and drivers - as only the most fit and best prepared cars survive the pounding that this course delivers. At this season opener, our own Tom Ellis commandingly not only won his races on both Saturday and Sunday, but he also scored overall Group 6 victory - a amazing feat in his Steeda Autosports prepared Mustang!
Two weeks later, Tom Ellis showed that the victories at Sebring were not anomalies when at the Palm Beach International Raceway he once again finished on the top podium position by beating all competitors and winning both races commandingly. Everyone at Steeda Autosports congratulates Tom on his highly successful start to the 2014 SCCA American Sedan race series!
