The event, held to commemorate the Fallen Heroes of the September 11, attack six years ago, is hosted and coordinated by www.SouthFloridaStangs.net the High Performance Mustang Community for South Florida whose members all share a passion for Mustang and for this very worthy cause.
This year's event occurring on September 8, 2007 will benefit the September 11th Families Association (www.911families.org), an organization that raises money for the children of those who died in the attacks. Mustang Clubs from West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami work hard to make the event a rousing success.

About The 9-11 Tribute Run
The members of the South Florida Stangs - Mustang Club honor the sacrifice and the memory of the victims of 9/11. We raise funds to show our support for 9/11 victim's families. Our event is a Mustang only cruise, car show and memorial tribute that begins in Davie, FL and culminates at Holiday Isle in the Florida Keys. The activities at our destination in the Florida Keys include: a Mustang car show, a raffle, an auction and a soul stirring tribute to the victims/heroes of the attacks on Septembet 11th, 2001. This event was designed to serve as a tribute to honor the victims of September 11th, 2001. We serve the community with this event by raising funds for a 9/11 based charity. With that, The South Florida Stangs 9-11 Tribute Run was born.
The goal this year is raise $10,000.00 to benefit The September 11th Families Foundation which we are supporting for the second year in a row. We plan to achieve our fund raising goal through event sponsorships, donations, participant registrations, event merchandise and raffle ticket sales. South Florida Stangs will donate the 100% of the proceeds to The September 11th Families Foundation.
