3rd Annual Steeda Stampede Event!

Steeda Autosports had its largest Steeda Stampede Event ever! Over 200 Mustangs and Focus' converged on Steeda's Pompano Beach headquarters for the third annual Stampede Event. The Steeda Stampede Event is a car show and tech seminar,starting with a show and shine at Steeda's main complex and then a cruise up to Moroso Motorsports Park for the Ford Power Festival.

The event started off with Fords pouring into Steeda before 8a.m. getting ready for a day of showing off and excitement. Dario Orlando, President of Steeda Autosports began the day by giving tours of Steeda's four building complex. The welding and fabrication shop, the CNC machine center, the warehouses, R&D offices and sales floor were opened to Steeda's friends and supporters for a short time and Steeda's secrets where shared.Dan Carlson the R&D manger at Steeda and Sam Cory one of Steeda's leading technicians gave several demos on Mustang suspension and improving overall performance. Frank Stoddard and Rob Korhonen fired up the grill. Hot dogs and hamburgers were the order of the day. Some 500 hot dogs and hamburgers were served to hungry Ford fans. At half past noon some exciting door prizes were given out. Several companies had shown their support for the event. Royal Purple, Addco Manufacturing, Hawk Performance, Auto Specialties, Crane Cams, Borla, Nitrous Express, Flowmaster and Vortech all supplied door prizes. Steeda, Addco and Auto Specialties gave out the top prizes Aluminum Lower Control Arms, a Tri/Ax Shifter, Caster Camber Plates, an Adjustable Rear Sway Bar and a set of under-drive pulleys. After a bit of confusion all the prizes were awarded and it was time to get underway.

The Fords formed a 3-mile-long line for the trip to Moroso Motorsports Park. The 38-mile caravan up to the Ford Power Festivalstarted and the not so slow caravan was off.Cars lined the road for as far as you could see in both directions. Spirits were high. After several impromptu burn outs and excessive displays of speed, everyone safely made it to the park.

Over 22,000 people attended the Ford Power Festival during the weekend.The response to Steeda's New Car Program Vehicles on display and the all-new Hard Core Line was extremely positive. Additionally the aftermarket enthusiasts were excited to see the SEMA Ford Technology car "AKA" the Q400 on display and everyone was very excited about Ford's involvement with the aftermarket industry.

Overall the third annual Steeda Stampede Event was a huge success, reaching over 22,000 people by the time it arrived at the Ford Power Festival and adding great amounts of brand excitement to both Ford and Steeda.
