Looking for competition proven handling performance for your Mustang but still be able to drive it on the street? Steeda has the springs for you!

Steeda's Competition/Street springs have been competition proven in NASA American Iron competition. They will greatly reduce nosedive and keep body roll to a minimum for the ultimate in performance.

For maximum handling, we also recommend combining our Steeda X5 ball joints with our bump steer kit. Check them out at these links:

The springs are also a great match for our Tokico D-spec shocks.

Product Reviews

This gives your pony the best stance out there - great for daily driving and you can feel the improvement in cornering.

I run time attack in my 2012 GT. The performance gain was immediate. Nose dive was reduced, cornering sharper, and the ride is better now than it was before. So why don't I have a perfect 5 star rating on the board? I still drive the car on the street As mentioned in another review, the front end raised up compared to stock. The rear is lowered perfectly. It just looks a tad odd. The average person won't notice, but the hardcore Mustang fan will definitely see something a bit off. If mine was a pure track car, it wouldn't matter at all. Any Mustang with a supercharger on it should sit perfectly.

I take my '12 V6 Manual to the track quite often, and the one thing you notice off hand is the extremely soft suspension on the stock car. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of progressive springs, and there are very few linear progressive springs in the market, and this is one! I found the difference right away! My turn in was sharper, response was stiffer, and I added a strut tower brace from Ford racing to further tighten the front end. The front end is much more disciplined than before.
If you are fan of linear springs, this is a good spring to go with your stock struts.

These springs were recommended to me by Sam Strano when I first bought my 2009 GT500. Even though they are called competition springs, I was surprised that they improved the ride as much as handling. No more brake dive, and very responsive around the corners. I prefer the way my car ride now, even better than stock. They seem to work well with the stock struts and shocks on the car, so I can only imagine how much better these springs would respond with an adjustable Koni or Tokico setup. One word of caution, unless you have a heavier engine in your standard S197 GT, opt for the Sport Springs. The higher spring rate in the front coil competition spring will actually sit higher than the rear due to the lighter 4.6L aluminum engine. Overall, I give these springs a 5 star rating, as I have been very impressed with the ride and handling.
