Since the inception of the Ford Mustang in 1964, Americans and people around the globe began a love
affair with America's pony car. It created a segment that was unheard of at the time. From its bold
styling, long hood, short rear deck, and large haunches it was a hit from the start. Since then, the
Mustang stable has gone through six generations of power, style, and performance. Each generation has
offered that visceral freedom driving experience to the masses that only Mustang can provide! As Mustang enthusiasts, we know that messing with the recipe that has made the Mustang an American icon
around the world is a dangerous game and the car should not be tampered with. However, Ford knows that
industry changes are coming with
the enhancements of electric vehicles and the current energy climate. With that said, it was time to act
quickly or be left in the dust. Just as Ford knew back in the early 1960s that a revolution in auto
design and culture must hit the market - that time must come again. For some time, Ford was hinting of an all-electric SUV that would be inspired by the Mustang for its
performance, style, and sophistication. After much debate and speculation, Ford announced at the 2019 LA
Auto Show the all-new revolutionary 2021 Ford Mustang
Mach-E electric SUV.

At first glance, you can tell that the Ford designers wanted the Mach-E to have all of the Mustang muscle
and DNA embedded all over. In the front, it is clear that the designers want to make sure that the
intimidating front sculpture was reminiscent of the signature Mustang shark-bite grille giving this car
its distinct Mustang personality. We also can tastefully say that the characteristics of the long hood,
short deck, and big haunches in the quarter panels are prominent. From every corner you look at the Mach-E, it is clear that when you put it side-by-side against the
current Mustang that this pony is clearly part of the stable. The short rear deck of the Mach-E is
probably one of the biggest characteristics that is 100% Mustang. From behind, it clearly states, “I am
a Mustang, so beware.” One of the greatest features that we can see on the Mach-E is with the addition of four doors,
enthusiasts won't have to compromise on having a practical vehicle. At the same token, customers won't
have to give up their passion for style, power, and that exhilarating driving experience that all
Mustang enthusiasts passionately enjoy. The Mach-E has key exterior features such as signature tri-bar rear sequential tail lights, fastback
silhouette profile, low aggressive stance, and of course, the signature pony emblem. All of these
combined add up for a pony in the stable that will fit right into the iconic story that is Mustang!
Ford knew that in order to make a huge leap forward into the all-electric vehicle segment, the Mach-E
would have to be bold and powerful! Looking at the numbers, the Mach-E certainly doesn't disappoint. With a variety of different trim levels available on the Mustang Mach-E, you'll be able to find a spec
that fits your lifestyle. Whether it's the luxury Premium level with AWD or RWD and a 300-mile range, or
the all-out GT with a 250-mile range, AWD, a mid-3-second 0-60 time, and 612-pound feet of
tire-shredding torque! This allows the Mach-E GT to compete with the likes of a Porsche 911 GTS!
When the Mach-E hits the dealer showrooms later this year, it will be available in five different trim
models.
The Mach-E is equipped with a class-leading interior. From its amazing leather-trimmed bucket seats to
the incredible technology like its commanding 15.5” infotainment display. The Mach-E is equipped with
Ford's next-generation SYNC infotainment software, which will allow the user to seamlessly integrate
their phone to replace the key fob using the FordPass app. Not to mention, trunk space is staggering 29
cubic feet of cargo while allowing passengers a total of 59.6 cubic feet of space! The Mach-E was truly
designed form and function at its best. Due to being an all-electric vehicle, the Mach-E allows for a lower center of gravity. This allows the
Mach-E to have the functionality of a frunk, also known as a front-mounted trunk. This gives the user
the ability to stow an additional 4.8 cubic feet of storage allowing for a normal size compact rolling
bag. Additionally, the frunk has a plastic liner allowing it to be used as a cooler for when you are
tailgating at your favorite football game! Like all Mustangs past and present, the interior is the command center of the driving experience.
Inspired by aircraft design, the Mach-E shares the same characteristics as the Fastback coupe. From the
double brow style dashboard to the cockpit-style gauge cluster that demands the driver's attention, Ford
was clear that it wanted the Mach-E to have the same cockpit-style feel that Mustang enthusiasts are
accustomed to now for over fifty-five years. As enthusiasts, we are so excited about what the Mach-E GT is going to bring to the performance electric
vehicle segment. With an estimated zero to sixty in the mid-three-second range, it is clear that this
Mustang is charged to hurt some feelings in the performance segment! One of the things that we love most
about this model as well is that it truly has the soul of the Mustang in design, power, performance, and
styling throughout. We look forward to getting our hands on one of these to really put it through its paces and develop the
Steeda parts you know and love to bring it to the next level! Be sure to follow our social channels for
