Steeda's heavy duty, direct replacement, upper strut mounts replace the weak factory mounts for S197 Mustangs.

The Steeda street heavy duty upper strut mounts are manufactured to the same exacting tolerances as our industry leading caster/camber plates. They utilize a roller bearing that exceeds OEM specs to ensure precise suspension control. Will not fail on lowered cars like the factory piece.

These upper mounts eliminate the "popping" sound that is common on lowered cars when the factory upper mount fails. Unlike the factory piece, you can also get an extra 1 degree of camber in each direction with these plates as well. Steeda's heavy duty upper mounts are specifically designed for street use and will not show any increase in NVH when installed.Price includes a set of two.

I had a hardtime getting my 2010 into alignment after I lowered it. After hearing the difference between these and the bolts the choice was clear. These made a world of difference as far aa alignment and handling!

Just got these installed today, with host of other Steeda suspension pieces. Install was a breeze on everything, but these strut mounts really set the package off. Even the shop owner gave me a look dead in the eye and said 'those tower mounts were pretty trick'... The shop does primarily Chevy stuff, but they were super impressed by the end package.

These are the ones to get!! I lowered my 10 GT the second week I had it. After about 18k the inside of all 4 tires (rotated ft to rear every 5 k) were about gone. I knew I needed some positve camber but didn't want to grind on the struts or use the bolt kits. I first tried a different strut mount manufacture and though the construction quality was good and the adjustment I needed was there the parts ratteled. The Steeda mounts do a superior job of isolating the top of the strut while also giving just enough camber adjustment to get my alignment back in spec. They also make the front suspention just feel right! I don't race my car and really lowereed it because I like the way it looks. With all the noise from the other parts and the tire wear from the original mounts I thought I was going to have to put the factory spings back in to get the car back to where I could tolerate it. The Steeda mounts fixed my problems and I am very happy with them. Don't even bother with the other brands. These are the ones you want!

They have made the sport springs and koni shocks on my 2007 Convertible handle so very much better.

I have these for my 2012 GT. They're paired up with the steeda sport springs and koni sport shocks and struts.
the instructions fail to mention that a spring compressor is ESSENTIAL to install these properly. There is simply no way to compress the spring down far enough to allow the top of the strut to come through the strut mount in order to thread the large top nut down and secure the entire spring/strut/mount assembly.

Other than that, they're great. Steeda, you lose a star in my rating for failing to mention needing a spring compressor.
