Steeda's is the leader in underdrive pulley design for the 4.6L engines. Steeda was the first to achieve SFI approval on our underdrive pulleys for all 4.6L engines. Our underdrive pulleys are the only pulleys engineered through our unique partnership in Ford's technology transfer program to have the proper torsional vibration dampening characteristics for your 4.6L engine. No other manufacturer can make this claim.

Dont be fooled by other manufacturer's and their "state of the art" process claims. Steeda uses the latest technology directly from O.E. sources. Steeda's crank pulley is a one piece nodular iron, injection molded rubber design. Not a cheap "piggyback" design like many of our competitors use. Special rubber materials were chosen for their ability to absorb the torsional vibrations and their ability to withstand underhood temperatures. Steeda's underdrive pulleys slow down accessory speed by about 25% reducing parasitic acccessory drag on the engine. This drag reduction results in an increase of up to 10 horsepower and increased gas mileage!

Get back the horsepower and torque your belt driven accessories steal and start enjoying better performance and gas mileage today!

Steeda Underdrive Pulleys are manufactured under these rigorous manufacturing certifications: ISO/TS16949, QS-9000 & ISO 9001

Product Reviews

I was skeptical at first, once installed all I can say is WOW, you can really tell the difference, I never should have waited, easy Install and well worth it. MPG improvement nothing to brag about but hey makes it a blast to drive

For the money, you can't go wrong with these Steeda underdrive pulleys. You can tell it frees up some hp and doesn't affect drivability.

Free up some extra hp with these underdrive pulleys - every last bit helps!

I was able to remove the old pulleys and install the new under drive pulleys without the need to remove my radiator fan! Installation was easy. I let the car warm up while I cleaned up, then I jumped in and lit 'em up taking off down the street (nobody was out and I immediately slowed down to obey traffic laws). Revs did come easier and I only got a little chance to open her up on the main road before a torrential downpour (and the truck ahead of me) slowed me down. These are a great bang for your buck!

I installed these pulley's on my 08 GT about 2 weeks ago .I gotta say it was worth every penny . The car ran good already , but the difference was evident right away . I can't comment on the gas mileage claims because I'm kinda heavy footed , but the throttle response and performance claims are spot on . If your looking for an inexpensive mod , look no further ! Love these pulleys and you will too .

Steeda is the closest brand with Ford OEM. The quality shows in the pulleys have timing marks and painted vs. stock balancer with surface rust. I have never been let down when using any steeda parts. Installed these UDP on my 07 GT and notice the engine revs faster and better acceleration. Balancer is smaller and 1lb lighter than the factory dampner. Usually manual gts will see up to 9hp gain vs an autos 6hp. But no regrets.

Hey, I have a 2006 Mustang GT and browse the forums frequently where people always want to know what's the best bang for the buck. Although most say gears, or intake/tune, I gotta say for $200 bucks these are a great way to give you a little extra oomph. I'm not some hardcore, supercharged, $50,000 invested in parts alone in my car, but the average joe that I think most of these parts applies to. I tested their performance at the track, and was pleased with these, intake and tune, and steeda's lca's I ran a 13.075 @ 107.75. Most of the parts on my car are made from Steeda. Steeda came out the gate from Ford and had a huge lead in the aftermarket before anyone else and most of the "FFRP" parts, are indeed Steeda parts.

Great product. No cons other than having to install it. Pros were increased MPGs, hp improvement, engine revved quicker than stock pulleys, better asthetics.

Not only did I see a 11 rwhp gain after adding these pulleys, but you can actually FEEL the power they add to your car. This is by far one of the best bang for your buck modifications you can do to your n/a 3v. These pulleys are top notch thanks to Steeda.

These pulleys were very simple to install with the right tools and provide a real 10 HP at the rear wheels. That's outstanding bang for buck. These are an absolute must for an N/A 3V build.
You will need a harmonic balancer removal tool and impact wrench to complete installation.
