Cornering

My stock Mustang GT suspension was okay, but I noticed lots of body roll under heavy braking into hard turns – even fast exits onto the straights felt a bit sloppy. So when my Steeda Sales Rep learned that I wanted to do a bit more than just DE (high performance Driving Experience events) and I mentioned NASA, he moved me from their 1” rear swaybar to fully adjustable front and rear swaybars. I would recommend fully adjustable Struts and Shocks first (they allow you to make handling control adjustments) and then move to fully adjustable front and rear swaybars. These were easy to install - did them on my driveway. These look good - especially the rear aluminum end-links. Most importantly however is that they WORK! I began at middle positions per Steeda's recommendation to "feel the car out". With the now much stiffer rear swaybar, the car had over-steer. I moved the rear to softest (still WAY stiffer than the factory bar). I had to reverse settings for my adjustable struts/shocks to stiffer in front and softer in back.
There was a professional photographer at the track for our last DE track day and comparing my car to other Mustangs, Shelby's, BMW's, etc., mine was flatter going through the turns. Heavy braking, tight turns, hard accelerations – the difference is night and day. One of the other drivers said mine was as flat as any Supercar going round the course. I was impressed most however, when one of the Porsche race drivers drove me around the course in my car – Wow! Highly recommend this upgrade.

Supercar Flat

First - these were easy to install - did them on my driveway. Second they look good - especially the rear aluminum end-links. Most importantly however is that they WORK! I wanted adjustable front and rear. I began at middle positions for both Front and Rear per Steeda's recommendation to "feel the car out". Now I'm at the middle position for Front and at the softest position in the Rear. We had a professional photographer at the track and comparing my car to other Mustangs, Shelby's, BMW's, etc. - mine was flat going through the turns - not a lot of body roll. One of the other drivers said mine is as flat as any Supercar going round the course. The Tokico D-specs have been dialed in and taking her around the track is Fast, Flat and Fun!!! Highly recommend them. You can set them up for track, the strip or daily driving.
