Steeda's GT500 brake upgrade includes a direct replacement, 14 inch slotted rotor set for the front, Steeda's 13 inch brake upgrade for the rear, and stainless steel brake lines.
This kit will increase brake effectiveness and increase rear brake rotor size from 11.8 to 13 inches for improved looks.
Stainless steel brake lines improve pedal feel and response by preventing a spongy pedal. Rubber lines have some give and can negatively affect your performance at the track. If you are looking to maximize performance and improve your GT500 at the track, stainless steel brake lines are a great option.
Slotted rotors help to improve braking performance in several ways. First, the slots help to wipe away debris and grit that may reduce contact between the pads and the rotors. Second, they help prevent gas from getting trapped between the pads and the rotors which reduces friction and stopping power. You can expect more consistent and improved brake performance from your GT500 with this set of rotors.
