From the factory Ford's Focus RS has much to improve upon, especially in its suspension set up. The stock sway bars are small in diameter and are not nearly strong or stiff enough for any performance enthusiast. Upgrading your RS' sway bars to a thicker and stiffer bar will go a long way in improving the overall handling of your Focus RS.
This Steeda Front and Rear Sway Bar Package will completely change the way your 2016-2018 MK3 Ford Focus RS handles. The package includes our Steeda Front Sway Bar and Steeda Rear Sway Bar and comes complete with steel mounting brackets which are stronger and thicker than OE.
Our Steeda Front and Rear Sway Bar come powder coated in silver and are made from chrome molly steel, which ensures we have the perfect ratio of diameter and strength to dial in the precise roll stiffness on your RS. Both bars are 25.4m in diameter compared to the stock 22mm bar.
The Steeda Front Sway Bar was designed to increase stiffness in the front by 25% while the Steeda Rear Sway Bar was designed to increase stiffness in the rear by 70%. Having a stiffer sway bar in the rear of you RS will help with reducing understeer. The overall combination of these two sway bars will drastically reduce body roll when cornering, and improve the overall handling of your Focus RS.
