ADD and Alcon engineering groups got together to develop the only 2010-2014 & 2017 Raptor / 2009-2017 F-150 6 piston front caliper brake kit that allows you to use factory wheels without using nonstandard wheel offsets that stress the steering on these trucks. Its also compatible with factory spindles and suspension. Some trucks will need different tie rods for clearance. The opposing 6 piston military grade ductile iron calipers allow for more clamping force, more stopping power, and are fluid balanced; maintaining ABS compatibility with 15% pedal effort reduction. Being ductile iron gives higher resistance to impact and fatigue. The calipers are radial mount with billet adapter for minimal deflection. High temp seals increase seal life, increase dust protection, and maximize service intervals. The epoxy acrylic paint over acid zinc finish looks great and provides the ultimate in corrosion protection. The larger and thicker slotted 13.6" x 1.4 rotors increase brake torque and produce less fade due to increased thermal mass & directional curved vein vents. Topping it all off are Alcons high friction pads with increased pad area which reduces temperatures and increases stopping power, while increasing pad life. The OE brake systems are good in stock form but for towing heavy loads or high speed off road fun, the OE can fade and lose performance unlike brake kit. In real world testing, ADD subjected these to a brutal 1,600 mile trip in Baja Mexico that included 100 MPH runs down remote dirt roads, The brakes performed flawlessly proving their durability and was the final step in testing before they granted approval to release to the market.
2010 ? 2014 Raptor; Requires A.D.D. Tie Rod adapter kit AC011507NANA or A.D.D. Full Billet Tie Rod kit AC01150299NA (or other manufactures similar tie rod kit to provide clearance to inner face of rotor). Vehicles with the A.D.D. spindle upgrade will already have tie rod end kit. The kit has not been tested with other spindle upgrade kits, so would need verifying on a case by case basis.
