2021 Ford Bronco Wheels & Tires
In the world of high-performance off-roading, two key areas are most necessary other than suspension and driveline capability; these are wheels and tires. When enthusiasts are off-roading in America's trails and forests, getting the most traction is vital to maintain forward momentum when going over mud, sand, rocks, and rivers. The 2021 Bronco will share similar technology that will trickle down from the Raptor in terms of beadlock wheel technology and all-terrain tires.
What Tires Will The Bronco Receive?
From recent teaser photos that have been released from Ford, it is clear that the Bronco will get several options in terms of tires. Like the Raptor, the Bronco should come with 315/70/R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2, but we have also seen some teaser hints of a mud terrain tire from Goodyear, this is something we could see that would help the Broncos cause very well. The reason being is the Jeep Wrangler has the Rubicon model, which is the most hardcore off-road model, offering standard mud-terrain tires.
When you're off-roading, having proper wheel strength to take the harsh impacts and terrain you will face on the trailhead. One thing is sure from the teased picture above is it seems the all-new Bronco will have beadlock capable wheels as its Raptor sibling does. It will allow the Bronco to have security when going through the harshest terrain possible. We predict they will be made of steel just as the Raptor does to ensure strength and rigidity.
