With the 2021 Bronco launch fast approaching, it will be exciting to see what Ford has come up with to aid the Bronco in terms of trail armor based on front and rear bumpers. As the new Bronco and the Jeep Wrangler will battle it out for supremacy of who is the number one go anywhere do anything SUV, it will be interesting to see what Ford does in terms of capability for the bumpers.

Within the last couple of years, Jeep has developed factory front and rear steel bumpers that give enthusiasts more confidence to tackle the trails of America. We think many features like an integrated section of the front bumper to attach a winch, off-road light bars, and accessories to give the necessary tools to get into a tricky situation.

2021 Bronco Bumper Capability

We can be particular about a few things if Ford is not going to sit back and let the Jeep own the segment any longer. Enthusiasts have been waiting for over twenty-five years for the return of the legend. Like the original Bronco, we can be sure by the teaser photo above that this Bronco means business and will feature a steel bumper for toughness and versatility. We don’t know what the workhorse will be able to do in terms of the front bumper, but if we have two senses, it sure as heck won’t sit back to the features you can choose in the Wranglers arsenal.

These design elements are simple to find in the Broncos siblings in the Ranger and F-150 in terms of their front, and rear bumpers are solid steel. We are looking forward to seeing the aftermarket support that companies like Addictive Desert Design and ARB will offer for the Bronco in the bumper department.
