Control Arms

The first generation of the Coyote motor brought unwanted wheel hop under hard acceleration since it was more capable than ever before. With more power on tap, a reworked suspension, and new chassis geometry, the second generation S197 Mustang required new tooling to help it perform to its best, and that included upgrading the factory upper and lower control arms in both the front and the rear. These parts will not only make a difference under acceleration and handling circumstances but will also do so without any increase in vibration, road noise, or harshness in your ride.

For anyone who pushes their car hard when they drive, upgrading the front and rear control arms is a great way of improving your car's handling under acceleration and while cornering. These pieces are designed to improve traction by keeping the car more firmly planted on the pavement, eliminating wheel hop issues commonly associated with these cars when they are not modified. A must-have for the driving enthusiast, these upper and lower control arms will help you keep your car stable at high speeds by maintaining road contact with more of the tire's surface than before, fighting traction issues, and improving driver confidence in their car.

Here at Steeda, we have taken our experience over the past 30 years of modifying, upgrading, and racing Mustangs and utilized it into producing some of the best parts in the entire automotive industry. With our control arms, we have worked to ensure they improve your car's performance on the road and on the racetrack. We have tested these parts on both our personal roadgoing vehicles as well as our track cars to ensure they work in every situation that may arise.
