  Product Description
Your 1979-2004 Mustang's steering rack bushings are not getting any better with age. Service them today by replacing your bushings with these polyurethane steering rack bushings.

Polyurethane rack bushings reduce unwanted steering rack deflection for quicker steering response and more accurate control. These bushings will also last longer and will not deteriorate as quickly over time compared to standard rubber bushings making them a great investment.

Available in standard and offset versions. Standard versions maintain the factory steering rack position. Offset bushings raise the steering rack slightly to maintain proper steering geometry on lowered Mustangs and reduce bump steer.

Product Benefits
  • Direct service replacement for worn out factory rubber bushings
  • Reduced steering rack deflection
  • Noticebly improved steering response
  • Much more durable than factory rubber bushings

SMOOTH OPERATION

I noticed a difference almost immediately. As soon as I started driving on bending roads and turning left/right became a breeze. Didn't know a small piece of urethane could make all the difference in the world in my steering response. Definitely a great upgrade piece and will perform even better with the new front sway bar and Steeda mounting brackets.

Installed on 2001 Mustang!

I went for a complete Steeda suspension setup, except for rear control arms; as I am still saving for those and hope me and steeda can work out something; for the aluminum rear control arms! Anyways I bought both front and rear sway bars, sway bar endlinks, sport springs, X2 ball joints, offset A-Arm bushings, strut tower brace, rear polyurethane bushing kit for both upper and lower control arms! After instaling the sport springs their is a little noticable differnce between the control arm and the tie rod ( which you do not want, this is before the X2 ball joints installation). I installed the new polyurethane offset control arm bushings with the thicker side facing up ( as when I ordered them was told the thicker side faces down from salws who asked someoe in tech., which was wrong and a inconvience, and I still have yet to recieve a email from tech support, but what can you do, I should have looked for myself ) anyways after installing them the wrong way, then taking it all apart again to flip the bushings to the correct side, I noticed that the gap between the tie rods and control arm was reduced and hard to notice. This is Important as this is what can add to and cause bumpsteer! So offset steering rack bushings are a must get when lowering the car!

These bushings are great!

I used these bushings on my 96 Cobra along with urethane offset control arm bushings. My steering response and accuracy was awesome. The car would react quickly and predictably to my steering inputs and was simply a joy to drive. One of the most fun cars I've ever had.

These bushings are inexpensive as well which makes them worth every penny!
