Product Description
The secret to perfect shifts! Your stock shift lever has rubber bushings that wear out fast, causing sloppy shifts. Permanently replace them with Steeda bushings, in about 15 minutes! Fits all 1979 and up 5 speed Mustangs. Now made from billet aluminum, less weight for quicker shifts.
Steeda TKO 500/600 & Hurst Shifter Bushings
The shifter on the TKO 500 and TKO 600 transmission has strong springs and a short throw, but the short lever can be hard to reach and requires more effort to engage the gears. Steeda billet shifter bushings adapt the taller factory Ford shift handle to the TKO 500 / TKO 600 transmission, for better driving comfort and easier, smoother shifts. The solid billet bushings eliminate the soft rubber isolator in the factory handle, making the shifts crisp and precise. Also adapts stock handle to Hurst shifters.
