Product Description
Ram Billet Steel and Aluminum flywheels are perfect upgrades over your factory flywheel.
When installing a new clutch it is always a good idea to replace the flywheel to ensure maximum clutch life and safety.
Many shops use a basic resurfacing machine that leaves hot spots and heat cracks on your flywheel as well as regularly leaving high spots that can cause uneven engagement and accelerated wear.
Upgrade to a billet steel or aluminum flywheel that meets SFI spec 1.1 and add extra safety and prevent flywheel failure from excessive horsepower, heat, and high RPM use.
Don't trust your flywheel on your high horsepower Mustang to resurfacing. Do your clutch right the first time with a new flywheel.
Note: Some 4.6L 2V engines may have 8 bolt instead of 6 bolt crankshafts. Romeo plant built engines have 6 bolts, Windsor plant built engines have 8 bolts. Using the 8th digit of your VIN number, VIN character X is for windsor engines, VIN character W is for Romeo engines. Please identify your engine before ordering.
