Steeda's full length subframe connectors are the best full length subframe connectors available for your 1979-2004 Mustang. Perfect for daily drivers, or serious cars with high horsepower, sticky tires or competition suspension.

Not only will Steeda full length subframe connectors provide unmatched strength, but will save you time in installation over other brands!

Steeda starts with beefy 1.5 x 2 x .083 square tubing that spans the full length of the floor pan providing unmatched chassis rigidity, improved handling, and improved ride quality with reduced impact harshness.

Our full length subframes are reinforced at each bend and include Steeda’s exclusive torque box reinforcing plate for the strongest attachment possible to the rear subframe for maximum effectiveness.

Steeda Full length subframe connectors also feature a one-piece reinforced seat bolt cross brace. Some subframe cross braces have 8 individual gussets which must be carefully positioned and welded on. Other other kits use no reinforcements at all in their cross braces. Steeda's cross braces have reinforcing gussets built-in, for greater strength with less welding.

Other full length subframe connector designs do not attach all the mounting point plates to the connector, leaving you to weld them during installation adding time and complexity. Steeda full length subframe connectors come with all mounting point tabs pre-welded to the subframe connector. Another Steeda exclusive.

Full-length subframe connectors are available in bare steel or black powdercoated finishes. The black powdercoat can be scraped and welded over, and then only the weld joints need to be spray-painted vs. the whole kit needing to be spray-painted.

This is a great product and a must for any mustang owner. Feels like a different car after install. Will be doing the strut tower brace next. Make sure you use a drive on lift when you weld these bad boys on.

Best upgrade I have done to my car yet. As soon as I got in my Mach it felt like a different car. Car was stiff and I didn't think I would notice but when cornering is were you feel it the most.Will buy Steeda again.

I just installed these on my '93 LX Hatch. I had previously added 17" wheels, stiffer springs, urethane bushings and camber/caster plates. Each mod made the ride a bit more harsh and noisy, now I know why. The body was flexing more because of the stiffened suspension. The Steeda sub-frame connectors changed that immediately! Floor pan flex is eliminated. No more "rocking chair" effect. It's noticeable in clutch and shifter action. My clutch leg and shifting arm were actually flexing the floor pan! Ride has improved now that the suspension is doing the work.
PS: Buy them painted. I spent more than the difference in cost on quality rattle can primer and paint.

This was the last installed part on my 04 Mach 1. perfect fit and I could really feel the difference. Car is very stiff and allows the suspension to work properly by elimintaing the body flex.

I used this on my 88 Mustang LX build. It really helped stiffen the frame together. Since Fox's and sn95's all have incomplete frame rails Steeda's subframe connectors are an excellent solution. I would recommend it as one of the most important first bolt-on upgrades! It assists with traction, handling, and braking!

These subframe connectors made a huge difference on the way my 02 mustang handled. Ride felt much more straight when flooring it. I was skeptical when I bought them thinking they would not make that much of a difference but after putting them on which was a perfect fit these made a huge difference highly recommended

I got these a while ago, the ones I have are the full length chromoly connectors with seat braces, we welded them up on my '90 5.0L hatch, and the difference was night and day. The car rides smoother, handles much better, and even seems to accelerate better off the line. They are by far the single best mod I have made to date, and I would recommend them to anybody who owns an old flexy fox body.

this is a very important modification on a mustang. Made the car ride alot better and not twist. At first I ordered s&w but they didn't fit. Went back to the speedshop and they ordered me these and I can't be happier. A high quality product.
