Product Reviews

Great addition to the Steeda TriAxe shifter! I was really worried about using a longer shifter handle, but after a few days of using this handle...I love it! I can leave my arm in a much more comfortable position while shifting and shifting actually feels better and more accurate than the standard much shorted handle that came with the TriAxe. I say all this as a 95 Miata owner for 12 years(go ahead rip me! I've heard it all. I love my "Barbie Car") every car guy knows the Miata has one of the best shifters out there. Not only does it function well it looks bad#ss! I was planning on polishing it before installing it but those machine marks look so good! The machined in shift boot retainer is a big plus as well. I recommend this upgrade for sure. It adds quite a few fun points to driving.

Pro's: This is a fantastic and well built item.
Con's: No shift pattern on shift ball. No problem for me as I'm the main driver, but if my son or daughter were to get in and didn't know the shift pattern they can't just look at the ball and see that it's a 5 speed, 6 speed or whatever.

I installed this on my Pro5.0 shifter in my 05 GT. The shift ball is heavy....it really helps shifting. The weight give the shifter great momentum for those high RPM shifts!!
Love it!!
