Putting a new cam into your 5.0 or 351? Replace those tired and worn out lifters and timing chain with high quality new pieces. Sure you could re-use the old ones, but a big cam puts more strain on the valvetrain. So why take a chance? Replacing these parts now sure beats taking the engine apart again later.
