Steeda's Powerslot rotors are a great upgrade for your Mustang and improve brake performance.
Excessive heat under braking can cause resins in your brake pads to vaporize and "outgas" This gas combined with heat and brake dust form a boundary layer between the pad and the rotors which reduces brake performance.
These slotted rotors provide a relief path under breaking for the gas and brake dust to escape. These slots also help with cooling. The end result is greatly reduced brake fade and elimination of pad glazing.
Steeda's Powerslot rotors come with a silver cadnium plating for a bright finish that will not rust. Combine these with Steeda's Hawk HPS brake pads for excellent braking performance compared to factory pads and rotors!
